Their methods would include scratching marks into wet clay tablets or carving into stone tablets with tools. The tools they used had an affect on how the writing turned out. Modern Latin and Arabic can be derived from the Phoenician alphabet. The Greeks had developed a writing style called 'Boustrophedon'. I found it very interesting that the text was read from left to right and reversed from right to left. Not only was the reading direction reversed, but so were the letters. The Greeks did not use spaces
